Traditional Archery Club – Ages 9-19 years We are all saddened by the passing of Mr. Mickey Wilson on February 26th. Mickey is the founder of the Hall County 4-H Traditional Archery Club which began over 10 years ago. Through his generosity, he funded programming, recruited volunteers and outside donations and allowed us the privilege to have archery practices and events at what is affectionately known as the “Goat Farm.” His dedication and devotion to the youth of Hall County is unsurpassed. He will be greatly missed by everyone. Our thoughts are with his family.
The Traditional Archery Club strives to teach safety issues involved in the use and ownership of archery equipment as well as develop target-shooting skills. The club is managed by outstanding certified 4-H Adult Volunteer Leaders and coaches that are available at all practices to offer instruction and supervision. Additional adults are always needed to help with the program. Please let us know if you are interested in becoming part of our leadership team.
The club will meet May 2nd and 16th and then be done for the season. The club will fire back up in late August. Thank you EVERYONE for a great year!
